Explore the Programme
Discover the latest trends and established practices in the field of Data Science, AI and Data Ethics through our thoughtfully curated programme featuring keynote presentations and expert speakers.
We’ll open the day with a keynote on the risks of secondary use of AI models and why the insurance sector should pay close attention to purpose limitation - setting the stage for responsible and compliant AI adoption.
The agenda then turns to Generative AI in actuarial practice: from its implications for fraud in motor insurance to the use of generative models for synthetic non-life insurance data. You’ll also be able to explore what should never be automated as AI becomes more embedded in actuarial workflows, and how to maintain sound actuarial judgement in the age of AI.
Another key theme is fairness and transparency in insurance modelling, including a session on moving from predictive pricing to fair pricing through a causal fairness audit framework. The day will also cover practical industry perspectives on AI use cases in pricing and the current state of GenAI integration across European insurers.
We’ll wrap up with an important legal and ethical angle: intellectual property and copyright concerns - a topic becoming increasingly relevant as models and data-driven content are used more widely.
