Volunteer Work for Actuaires du Monde
Today we want to present another way of contributing to the actuarial community. Meet "Actuaires du Monde":
Actuaires du Monde brings together actuaries from all continents, focuses on countries in need of actuarial resources and cares about vulnerable and low-income persons. Through our partnership with actuview we give our members, especially those living in developing and emerging countries, a tremendous opportunity to access to a wide range of constantly published content and benefit from this rich information to expand, restructure and confirm their own knowledge.
Organizers' note: "On 12 May 2022, the third EAA e-Conference on "Data Science & Data Ethics" will take place live and virtually with the aim to present up-to-date solutions to technical problems, to share best practices and personal insights as well as to offer a forum for actuarial and data science experts.
Participants from all over Europe and the rest of the world joined this year's online event and benefited from the harmonious mix of live keynotes and expert talks as well as a selection of recorded presentations. Again next year we are aiming to present you well selected lectures on hot actuarial data science topics and to further establish the e-Conference as the most important information forum for the actuarial profession in terms of data, data quality and data ethics in Europe.
We therefore cordially invite you to get involved and share your knowledge and experience and kindly ask for your contribution to the Call for Papers. Further information on the key conference topics and all submission details can be found on the conference website behind the “Read more” button below. We are very much looking forward to receiving your presentation proposals in form of an abstract."
Deadline: 31 March 2022
2023 International Congress of Actuaries
Organizers' note: "ICA2023 will bring actuaries together from across the globe – in person and online – to share their challenges and triumphs, their expertise and insights, their plans for a better future. The Congress will be inspiring, energising – and fun. And it will shape the future of the profession and all who attend. ICA2023 will be the first Congress offering sponsors, delegates, and speakers the chance to connect in a hybrid format. Delegates can meet, share, and learn face-to-face in Sydney, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Or connect online via a state-of-the-art virtual platform that’s tuned to meet delegate needs for connection and inspiration as well as education. With a sophisticated live digital interface and on-demand delivery, ICA2023 will reach more people in more countries – and at a time that suits their needs.
If you have original work, ideas and insights to share with your actuarial colleagues, this is your chance to be heard on a global stage and make a difference: The Actuaries Institute Australia and the IAA are looking for abstracts with originality, a path to further research and real commercial and practical value. As the world seeks to absorb the costs, lessons and recovery opportunities thrown up by COVID-19, the Organising Committee is looking for thinking which helps reshape the actuarial profession and redefines its place in the world."
