News from member associations

• The Actuarial Society of Finland appointed Hillevi Mannonen and Esko Kivisaari as Honorary Members

                   
At the 100th Anniversary of the Actuarial Society of Finland held on 28 April 2022, Hillevi Mannonen and Esko Kivisaari were appointed Honorary Member. They were both recognised for their extensive and long-lasting contribution to the development of the association and the profession in general. 

• Hybrid annual meeting of DAV and DGVFM in April

DAV and its scientific partner organization DGVFM hosted their traditional Annual Meeting from 27 to 29 April 2022. Participants were able to take part in the annual conference both on site in Bonn and online. Nearly 600 actuaries and experts from the insurance and finance industry joined the three-day conference on-site in Bonn. At the same time over 1400 participants logged in virtually. Next to a diverse actuarial program of all seven sections two plenary sessions were offered with high-class speakers and panelists featuring the topics Health Insurance and Pensions. The DAV General Assembly also took place in a hybrid format. The recordings will be online on actuview from mid of June.
