In the 2021 Rome Congress, a project called the "Global Actuary" was launched with 1,210 participants, including actuaries and stakeholders. The aim was to expand the traditional roles of actuaries in fields like insurance and pensions, while also exploring new areas such as enterprise risk management, artificial intelligence, and finance. The upcoming Congress, titled "The Global Actuary for a Sustainable World: Tradition, Innovation, and Emerging Risks," will delve into these topics, with a focus on Italian, European, and international perspectives.Stakeholders are warmly invited to participate, and more information can be found on www.ordineattuari.it and www.actuary-isoa.com.
- 11 April 2024, Conference in Celebration of David Wilkie’s 90th Birthday, in-person only,
Professor David Wilkie was at one time an active member of the Groupe Consultatif, the predecessor of the AAE. David reaches his 90th birthday next year, and a Conference to commemorate this is being held at York University, England, on 11 April 2024. Please see the webpage for more details.

The different sections of the IAA (AFIR-ERM, ASTIN, IAAHS, IAALS, IACA, and PBSS) will host the very 1st Joint Colloquium of all IAA Sections (JoCo2024) in the centre of Brussels from 22 to 26 September 2024.
The Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (IA|BE) invites all actuaries and section members from all around the world, as well as actuarial students, to discuss the latest research and actuarial challenges arising from new fields of professional and academic activity as well as from traditional work areas. The JoCo2024 Organizing Committee welcomes abstracts until 15 December 2023. The presentations for the congress program will be selected by 31 January 2024 and shortlisted speakers are requested to be available on-site for the event's dates in order to deliver their presentation live.
